Video tutorials

Basic online video tutorials are available on our YouTube Channel, and go through the process of making a puzzle and demonstrating various options. Some of these are using a slightly older version of the program.

• AI-assisted puzzles
  9 minutes. Shows how to make vocabulary, theme, quick, and educational puzzles using AI-generated theme lists and clues. Also demonstrates multi-language use.
• Making a vocabulary puzzle
  16 minutes (key points near beginning) . Shows how to make a freeform puzzle using your own words, write clues, save, and print/export a work sheet. Also, how to make shaped and word search puzzles.
• Making an American newspaper-style puzzle
  25 minutes. Demonstrates all the basic features you might want to use, from selecting or designing grids, to filling words with AutoFind and AutoFill, writing or using clues, to printing and exporting.
• Making a cryptic or quick crossword
  25 minutes. Similar to the American tutorial, but using cryptic/quick style grid patterns, and showing how to use tools like anagrams for writing cryptic clues.
• Using the Pro Grid Filler
  11 minutes, How to fit theme words, use manual word selection, do themed and rebus fills, and find the best fills using the optional Professional Grid Filler.
• Uploading a puzzle to the web
  1 minute, silent. Using the Web Publish button and the web hosting account.
• Making a sudoku
  1 minute, silent. How to make a sudoku quickly.
• Making a coded puzzle
  6 minutes. How to code puzzle using every letter of the alphabet.
• Making Clues in Squares puzzles
  10 minutes. How a puzzle with clues and arrows in the grid.
